I bought this to replace my 34 ear old sapphire engagement ring which was lost i Florida. It is bigger than I imagined and the stone is lighter and brighter so it doesn't really replace my precious ring. But it is very pretty and I wear it all the time. This is a very pretty, believable ring. It is not one that you can easily find a band to accompany, however. The center setting doesn't sit in such a way that a plain band will fit flush against the ring. If you don't plan to wear a band with it, though, it is really nice.
